The 75% crafting rule

Currently there is a house rule that says the person with the crafting feat makes the items at half price and the rest of the party has the crafter make them at 75% cost.

Items made for party benefit should always be at 50% cost.

I do agree that party items should be made for 50% case. example staff of teleport

so is this poll for party items or items in general?

The poll was for making items for a fellow party member to use. But if everyone chipped in for a specific item for party use (ex. Wand of CLW) then it would be at half cost.

And is there a reason that this was brought back up? We've been doing it the 75% way for as long as I've been around. What has changed?

Nothing has changed. It has been years since it was origionally created (3.5 rules) so it was time to see it it was still needed. We will eventually go through all the house rules to see if any need changing or removing. No reason to keep house rules if the majority do not agree with them.

This is actually 5 votes for 75%.  For some reason it put me down as 50% when I had not yet voted.  I fixed it.
