Should Maze (as it is officially written) be banned

I will post the reasoning behind this one for the new players. We played a champaign for about two years (Castle Grayhawk). At the final battle the main bad guy cast maze on my fighter in the first round. You have to make a dc 20 int. to get out. Lasts 10 minutes and you get a new save each round. This took me (the party fighter) out of the fight for the entire final battle which sucked as we played for 2 years to get to that point.  

This first poll will be to see if Maze as it is written should be banned. We can discuss later if we should tweak it or impose limits on its use.

No point in not voting first since everyone knows how I feel about it  

So it is still banned from play. Does anyone want to or have any suggestions to tweak it?
