"Release the hounds!"

Grax heard the call go out and smiled. It had been quite a while since any prisoners had been willing to risk having him and his companions be on their heels. As he prepared his partners equipment the warden came into his chamber which surprised him, normally the man didn't show much interest in Grax's duties other than the prisoner making it back, be it dead or alive. At least as alive as they could be. "Grax, I gotta give ya a warning. This hunt will be a bit different than the others," he says. "This prisoner was able escape due to some outside help, and after questioning his cell mate we found out that this outside party apparently kidnapped this prisoner due to some interesting info he had. The prisoner has apparently ventured into the city of Tsar, and actually came back to tell the tale. Apparently his mind was a bit disturbed by the trip," the warden chuckles a bit at that statement."If not why would he steal from a guardhouse and then turn himself in asking for life in prison as his punishment . Now what would drive a man to want to be in this prison to be protected and from what is beyond me but what i do know is that we need to verify either that he is dead or in our cells. This means you and your "friends" are gonna chase down this man and the people who dared intrude upon our fair prison. i know you're the right "man" for the job since you've yet to fail on a hunt. Be safe my friend and may your hunt be fruitful."

Hmm. Tsar. Grax had heard of the place and nothing of it was good. Well that is if you didn't account for the untold riches left in the old city. Of course that is if you would dare to go up against the horrors of undead and other horrible creatures that were rumored to be in the cursed city. Then again, apart from seeking down the wayward prisoner or 2, he did have a special hatred for the undead since 3 years ago when his family was massacred. As he remembered the past he instinctively double checked his partners' gear to be sure they were ready for battle.

The screams, the tearing of flesh it had happened so fast yet altered so much for him. He was coming back from the woods with a boar he had been hunting when he heard his mother screaming and then be cut off. He raced to the cabin only to find the door broken off its hinges and a rotting creature turning to face him. In its hands it held his mother's head, her body lying in a pool of blood on the floor. Where had it come from? Why had his father not been there to stop it? In rage he used his bow to shoot at it but to little effect. It started coming towards him as he pulled his sword out but it was on him before he could attack it. He felt it grip his body with a monstrous strength and he prepared for death only to have the creature be plowed into by a small creature. Gruff! The loyal dog had heard the scream and came to investigate, while unable to help his mother the dog had just given him a fighting chance. The creature slammed the dog away eliciting a yelp from the small creature. This did give enough time for Grax to be able to slice at the creature and in a lucky swing decapitate it. Immediately after doing this he felt a burning sensation take hold on his chest. He opened his shirt to see a tattoo of a crescent moon over his heart. He decided to worry about it later and searched around the cabin for his father, only to find him dead. Apparently the creature had taken him with surprise and slammed him on the head from behind. His mother must have heard the commotion and come outside only to draw the creatures attention, which then had resulted in her death as well. Grax wept for his parents and then remembered about Gruff, the one who had saved him from a similar faith
. He went to check on the small dog, but found that the hit from the creature had been too much for the small creature. He buried his family and friend, and then sold the land, knowing the memories of what happened would never let him live there in peace. He then set off into the world to find a new purpose, harboring a hatred for the undead. He also hoped to find out what the strange marking that had been imprinted upon him, not knowing that ending the creatures life had forever altered him.

The memory faded, and he shook his head. While he had still not found out what the mark itself was, he had quickly realized that it had altered his entire being. He was able to see in darkness, and was much faster and stronger than he had been before. In essence, he had become an efficient and powerful predator. For now he was content to thank the gods for letting him live and making him stronger, but he would trade it away just to have his parents alive again."Unfortunately there isn't any use dwelling on the past, the hunt is afoot. Of course putting down a couple of unholy monsters cant hurt while I'm at it. As the saying goes, "Let loose the dogs of war,"" he said with a smile.

So far for him im debating on these abilities
Humanoid( human) 0 points
flexible stats +2str +2 dex 2 points
Flexible feat 4 points
static feat (combat reflexes) 2 points
Fast 1 point
Darkvision 60 ft 2 points
light sensitivity -1 point
for a total of 10 points

With this set up from the arg i feel comfortable with allowing it with the 15 point build and 5k extra gold to those not using the arg.

Here is why.

You switched off the +1 skill point per level for another feat. (Beyond the normal feat for being human.) Feats are normally better than skill points in our games.

You gained the fleet feat free.
You gained darkvision (permanancy spell) free (normally 5k).

You also gained a second +2 to an ability (instead of the normal +2 to a single ability).

My initial suggestion of 15 point buy for those using the arg and a 20 point buy and +5k gold to those not using the arg seems fair at first glance.

Any thought from the group?
