The party encountered an area where they could momentarily see ghostly image of the realm of the Fey (the first world).

The Stag Lord is supposedly living to the south in a fort. He leads the bandits that are plaguing the area. He is a raving alcoholic, but he is still very powerful and good with a bow.

The party found a vein of gold. It could be useful later.

May 22, 2011 Skype game

The party encountered a dead unicorn. The horn was missing and there was no obvious signs of death. The creatures eyes were milky and sightless indicating it was probably blind at its time of death. Even though it was by an insect ridden swampy area, no animals or insects were within 40 ft of the dead unicorn. The party was able to determine that the creature was more than likely hit with a finger of death spell. They also recall stories of how some powerful fey from the first world can leave their victims marked in a way that even their bodies shed a strange aura of repulsion to natural life - as if animals and vermin could sense the anger of such powerful fey and knew better than to involve themselves with such a victim.

The party encountered more troll tracks headed south towards the southern boarder of their chartered area. The past a farm that was wrecked from these trolls as well. In this area were humanoid footprints as well leading north. Possibly survivors.

Encountered a barbarian scouting party on the western side of the chartered area. They are from the region known as the Slough to the west. The barbarians are split into various tribes. Most believe they will never be united until Armag the Twice Born is reincarnated. (This is like the legend of King Arthur. They keep waiting and waiting and waiting...) Let me know if I need to think of a name for the barbarian tribe

Some creatures have been larger than normal.

Seems to be more fey than reported in the area was thought.

A boggard with only a few words of common lives in the forest.

June 11, 2011 - Live Game

The players fought a large green tinted Owlbear with undersized wings. Possibly a baby.

The Stag lord had a green hair tight to his belt.

Book 2 and 3.

The troll leader had a green hair tied to his belt.

The owlbear that attacked Tuskberg had green tint to it.

The cursed ring that the barbarian wore to control the owlbear was made or green hair.

Also, I got sidetracked in the June kingdom phase and forgot to mention that you hear a rumor that Fort Drevlev and a band of barbarians called the tiger lords seem to be fighting with each other. Many barbarians have joined the tiger lords against the fort. It is rumored that the fort got to greedy in its exploration and expansion and started looting barbarian holy places. The barbarians do not normally work together, though.

In that case I would have suggested to the rest of the group that we get in touch with the barbarians and secretly provide them with some support - 1BP worth. My hope is that they would have a friendlier view towards us and us our gift to harm our enemies.

Let me know if the rest of the group supports funding the "rebel insurgents" to help over throw the "evil dictators." (sorry, I just could not resist... )

From what I understand, it's not an insurgency but a war. An insurgency is defined as "the state or condition of being in revolt or insurrection". The war started due to Fort Dredlev's expansion into the barbarian areas. We're just providing material support to the enemy of our enemies.

Keep in mind that Fort Dredlev started what amounts to a cold war when they sent Grigori to Tuskberg.

A few months after they party learned of the barbarian uprising against the fort, the party learns that the barbarians were not fairing well and have been seen around Pitax.
